Over 1,800 acts on violation of environmental norms drawn up

121 acts were sent to law enforcement agencies.
During the first 11 months of this year, 1,881 acts and 577 protocols on possible violations were drawn up as a result of measures on the supervision of environmental protection conducted by the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry.

The statement came from Minister Huseyngulu Bagirov during the board meeting of the Ministry.

According to Bagirov, 957 orders of compulsory execution were issued to eliminate detected violations under the existing legislation.

In this connection, 121 acts were sent to law enforcement agencies, 125 acts – to courts and 394 – to bailiffs. Unfortunately, majority of the submitted acts were left without consideration.
